Design and Creation That Have Impact
My first time designing for an online brand was the project DSQ206, the online division of Departmentstore Quartier 206 in Berlin Friedrichstrasse, offering a broad selection of luxury fashion, beauty and home & living brand.
Working in a small team collaborating closely with Marketing, Brand Relations and PR, this was a great opportunity to try experiment with different graphic techniques, improve my image edit and layout skills, and experience first hand how good design makes impact on conversion and audience engagement.

EDITORIAL DESIGN
Coupling image and copy together is what it's all about. Final selection of the photos, precise cropping, matching with the perfect typography and rounding it all up in the overall layout. Those are my bread and butter.

Editorials are a great way of in forming the audience with the recent trends and at the same time offering a selection of relevant items. This presents a challenge selecting the right images, creating the right layout and curating the products in a way that isn't too obviously commercial.

PROPS THAT POP
When it comes to still life photography, using props is a great way to keep the scenery alive and fun. What can be a better prop than candy?

ANIMATION DESIGN
No better way to spark interest in your communication than with a vivid, whimsical animation. I created this animation using Adobe Illustrator using a stop motion technique over Adobe Photoshop. The reach out went beyond the newsletter campaign and was even used by the brand itself on their social media.

STILL LIFE & DETAIL SHOTS
A good customer journey brings the brand all the way to the user even after the purchase was made. We also know that the packaging material that accompany the product not only spark joy, but serve as a long lasting reminder of that good customer experience.
